Websites for local Australian businesses

Your work is good. Your website should say so.

I build fast, modern websites for trade and family-run businesses — the kind that make someone pick up the phone instead of scrolling past. Flat price, no lock-in, and you own everything from day one.

What you get, as standard

No tiers, no upsells, no "premium" version of things that should have been there anyway.

01

Built for phones first

Most people will find you on a phone, usually standing in a shed or a driveway. The site is designed for that screen first and scaled up, not the other way around.

02

Made to get you called

Tap-to-call buttons, a quote form that lands in your inbox, and your phone number never more than a thumb away.

03

Fast, everywhere

Images compressed properly and no bloated page builders. Pages load quickly even on patchy rural reception.

04

Set up to be found

Proper page titles, descriptions and structured business data so Google understands who you are, what you do and where you work.

05

Written, not filled

Real copy about your business in plain language. No stock waffle, and nothing invented — if I can't confirm it with you, it doesn't go on the site.

06

Yours to keep

The domain is registered in your business name and the files are yours once the build is paid for. You're never locked in.

Pricing

One build price. Then you choose.

The website costs the same either way. The only decision is whether you'd like me to look after the hosting, or run it yourself.

The build

Design, copy, build and launch. Paid once, and the site is yours.

  • Full site designed around your business
  • Copy written with you, nothing invented
  • Domain registered in your business name

Managed hosting & changes

$45/ month

I host it, maintain it and make your changes. Nothing for you to log into or remember.

  • Hosting and domain renewal handled
  • Small changes any time, just ask
  • First 6 months: bigger changes and even a full redesign included
  • Backups kept, plus a copy of the files sent to you after every update

After the first 6 months, small changes and updates stay included — a complete redesign from scratch is quoted separately at the build price. Month to month. Stop any time and the site and domain come with you.

How it works

The part most people forget to ask about

Websites go wrong when nobody's clear on who owns what. So here it is in plain terms, before you spend a cent.

Always yours

  • The domain. Registered in your business name and ABN, with your email as the contact. You're the legal holder from the day it's bought.
  • The website itself. The design, the files and the content belong to your business once the build is paid for.
  • Your content. Photos, logo, wording — all yours, always.
  • The right to leave. Move to another host or another designer whenever you like. Nothing is built to trap you.

What I handle

  • Hosting. On managed plans the site sits on my hosting account, which is what the monthly fee covers.
  • The technical bits. Domain settings, connecting it all up, renewals, and keeping it online.
  • Your changes. You email or text me what you want changed and I do it — there's no dashboard for you to learn.
  • Backups. I keep copies, and you get the current files sent through after every update, so you're never relying on me having them.
The process

Four steps, and I do most of the work

You won't be asked to write your own copy or hunt down technical details.

STEP 01

A conversation

You tell me what you do, who you do it for and what you'd want a website to actually achieve. No jargon required.

STEP 02

I build a draft

I write the copy, lay it out and send you a working version to look at — not a mockup, the real thing.

STEP 03

We fix what's off

You mark up anything that's wrong, missing or not how you'd say it. We go back and forth until it reads like you.

STEP 04

It goes live

Domain registered in your name, site connected, quote form tested. Then it's just changes when you need them.

Questions

Straight answers

These are the real questions people ask me before signing up.

Yes — and for an Australian .com.au domain it has to be. The registration is made in your business name using your ABN and your email, so you're the legal holder on record. I hold the management access so I can point it at hosting and keep it renewing, but ownership is yours from day one.

You take everything with you. The domain is already in your name, and the site is built as plain, standard web files — not locked into a platform. Moving it means pointing the domain at a new host and uploading the files. Any web person can do it, and you'll already have a current copy of those files because I send them to you after every update.

Not on the standard build — and that's deliberate. Sites like this are built as fast, simple files rather than a heavy content system, which is a big part of why they load quickly and rarely break. Instead of learning a dashboard, you message me the change and I make it. If you'd genuinely rather edit things yourself, tell me early and we can talk about building it differently.

Changes are the everyday stuff: new photos, updated prices or hours, a new service, reworded sections, adding reviews. Those are included on a managed plan, any time. For the first 6 months, bigger structural work and even a full redesign are included too. After that, starting the whole design again from scratch is quoted separately — but ordinary changes stay included for as long as you're with me.

No. The managed plan is month to month. If you stop, the site and domain are still yours — I hand over the files and help transfer the domain wherever you want it.

Less than you'd think. What you do, the areas you cover, your contact details, and any photos you already have — even phone photos are fine. If you have a logo, send it. If you don't, we work with what you've got. I'll write the rest and check it with you before anything goes live.

Never. No invented reviews, no made-up years of experience, no certifications you don't hold. If it can't be confirmed with you, it doesn't go on the site. It's your reputation on the page, and made-up detail is the fastest way to damage it.
